I enjoy watching. I come here, and I watch. Very entertaining. Fulfilling. My girl says I’m filling a void with more nothingness because I act so empty afterwards. I don’t eat, drink, or sleep much when I’m watching others. And that might mean I’m addicted to watching others. And that may be true. Then again, watching this poor sap is better than the perks this place offers gamblers. Watching this guy is satisfying, like how hitting a jackpot would feel for the poor sucker. He stays up, I stay up. He doesn’t leave his seat, I don’t leave mine. Also, I’m curious: Is he gonna win?

The same machine. The focus and faith never dying. His wanting is intense, and it seems like it’ll never end for him. He’ll live forever or die trying.

I know one thing, his name will stay with me.

Every time I see a machine and watch someone pull down a casino machine lever, I’ll hear his name with those coins – “FRANKLIN!”
