It’s a treat,

Master of defeat,

No stopping me,

I’m doing fine.

I don’t feel anymore,

I just don’t feel anything anymore,

There’s nothing in store,

I need it no more.

No complaints,

I’m not no one,

And I need no saints,

Pleased to be,

Blessed be,

My right to be.

I just don’t feel anything anymore,

Everything’s there,

It doesn’t matter what for,

Well, I’m doing just fine by feeling no more.

Boy walking with his blind mother,

Down those broken roads,

Me, I watch, seeing through his eyes,

Saying nothing that he doesn’t know,

Well, the groups they bunch for rows of foes,

And they line up to here,

To the little rule that’s “forever,”

Oh, it’s said with fear.

The mother’s name was Something Vain,

And she broke her son’s heart at, “Stop,”

See the blind and young again,

My son loves her not.

Oh, I just don’t feel anything anymore,

There’s nothing in store,

I feel it no more.

I just don’t feel anything anymore,

Everyone’s there,

It doesn’t matter what for,

I’m doing just fine by feeling no more.
